Samsung or LG LED TV?

Im looking to buy an LED TV. I know of the makers: LG and Samsung. Which one has the best picture?

From a technical standpoint Samsung, Sony, and LG can all deliver you amazing LED LCDs. They will be top of the line, amazing image quality, and reliable. You won’t get a huge amount of difference between them frankly.

Now from the consumer standpoint, the real difference is going to be just the outright look of the TVs. And everyone has different tastes frankly. So you should really do the final judgement in a store and with your own eyes. Its your eyes that have to watch the TV, not someone else. And actually maybe try out a couple of different stores, and make sure that its always the same model that you seem to like best, then you know for sure, that’s what you’ll enjoy the most.

By reputation a lot of people will say Samsung on this. They are the world leader in LCD technology these days. So it would seem fitting that they would give you the best option. But I know so many people that go LG for their HDTV purchases and are thrilled through the roof with their decision. So again, I would recommend looking at these sets in person. You’re going to watch a TV at the end of the day, not a spec sheet, and not a reputation of brand.

I like the look of the Samsung’s myself. I think I’d go with a Samsung LED LCD if I went that route. But again, I think that’s more personal taste, than anything I can outright “prove” as making Samsung the superior choice.
