Top Lcd HDTV

I just bought a samsung LED tv 1080p. I have a ps3 with hdmi cable connected to tha tv and all, but the LED tv’s picture display looks kind of weird. On tha display settings I got tha following set:
Backlight: 19
Contrast: 60 (it was 100 at first, thought it was way too much)
Brightness: 45
Sharpness: 50
Color: 55

Advanced settings I got tha following put on:
Darkness: off
Dynamic contrast : Low
Color Range: Native

I am getting REALLY confused with these un-familiar settings. Its been 3 straight days Ive been tryna fix tha best picture settings for my ps3. It just doesnt work. When I make it dark, it looks good only in some scenes, tha rest looks kind of messed up. I was thinkin to myself, this is a fuckin LED TV, expect better pictures.
I just need an expert to help me out, I would REALLY appreciate it.

My TV (Sony Bravia 40″ LED) has shadowy streaks on the display. It looks like dust, but it’s not. It’s most obvious when the screen is a solid color. Any ideas? Does the screen need to be degaussed? How does one go about doing that?

After connecting the wire ( S. Video 4 Mini Pin and Stereo cable to 3 RCA ) from LED to computer, what changes do u have to make in ur display properties to enable tv ?

In display properties what changes do u have to make and where ?

When I play blue-rays on my led tv it just shows up as 1920×1080 not 1080p what is going on with this please help

i just got a new SAMSUNG LED TV SERIES 7 46′ (UA46C7000WR)…everything was working fine suddenly i noticed a long red line from top to bottom on the display while watching the tv.i made several attempts to disappear it but i failed…is it a major problem or should i just contact the SAMSUNG?

They associate the word 3D to the new LED Tv’s, is this a marketing trick or LED really are more depth capable than LCDs?
What about 3D content, when will that thing start appearing in Blu-Rays, does Blu-ray can even handle it?

New Coby 720p HDTV/DVD Combination 15.4 In LCD Color Display Digital Comb Filter/Noise Reduction

I have a Emerson 20″ LCD TV/DVD Combo that is not even 4 years old. Just this past week, the picture has become distorted and unviewable. The symptoms are: After about ten minutes of operation, the display will look like a scrambled satellite picture starting about 3 inches from the left side of the screen and continuing across the screen. When changing the channel, there is a delay in which the display switches to large vertical bars and then the channel picks up and displays the same horizontal problems. Anyone have any ideas?
