Top Lcd HDTV

I just bought a samsung LED tv 1080p. I have a ps3 with hdmi cable connected to tha tv and all, but the LED tv’s picture display looks kind of weird. On tha display settings I got tha following set:
Backlight: 19
Contrast: 60 (it was 100 at first, thought it was way too much)
Brightness: 45
Sharpness: 50
Color: 55

Advanced settings I got tha following put on:
Darkness: off
Dynamic contrast : Low
Color Range: Native

I am getting REALLY confused with these un-familiar settings. Its been 3 straight days Ive been tryna fix tha best picture settings for my ps3. It just doesnt work. When I make it dark, it looks good only in some scenes, tha rest looks kind of messed up. I was thinkin to myself, this is a fuckin LED TV, expect better pictures.
I just need an expert to help me out, I would REALLY appreciate it.

I am trying to set my new Blu Ray player to have the best settings (both display and audio) to have the best viewing experience.

I bought the above mentioned model and I hooked it up at home to my Directv reciever and the picture is blurry as could be. Ive also noticed these blackish white lines flickering at the very top of the playing picture. I know Im using a standard def directv receiver, but im sure theres a way to make the quality better. Any help?

I understand you’d need to tweak it to satisfy your own taste, but what figures get you near the correct temperature of 6500k?

I mainly watch football, and wanted to know the best settings for watching Football (Soccer if u live in the US). Also just for general use on various programmes…any ideas?

My parents got a Roku box with Netflix on it. Whenever they watch a movie, my connection on my xbox is so terrible I can hardly play. They stream the movies in HD, so it takes a lot of download speed. Is there any way I can change the settings so that it won’t stream in HD all the time and share some bandwidth with me?

What should the calibration settings be so that there is no lag.

As anyone who has this tv should know the picture needs some adjusting, could anyone help me out and let me know what they have there tvs settings at? any help is great! i couldn’t find anything online!

I have the UN55B8000, and would like to know the calibration settings I should have for HD cable and Blu-ray.
