Why is there an intense buzzing noise coming from my new Blu-Ray player?
I have a brand new Sony BDP S360 Blu-Ray Player connected via A/V cables to a brand-new Sharp LC-19SB27UT LCD HD television. Everything works great — the audio and video are flawless, but there is an annoying and incessant buzzing sound coming from the Blu-Ray Player. It flares up occasionally when watching a film and is always sounding off on the player’s home screen. Please help me get rid of the noise!

Maybe it’s not grounded, check trouble shooting guide
Make very certain _ and I mean VERY CERTAIN _ that you have everything hooked up correctly. I once plugged an audio in into a video out by mistake and got a buzz so loud that I couldn’t hear the audio coming from that channel. It took me a few minutes to figure out why. As it turned out, the audio and video outs on my player just happened to be the same color _ red. Due to my lack of paying close attention, that’s what resulted. If everything is connected properly, try swapping cables to see if the problem clears up. Sometimes a defective cable can cause weird problems. Also _ most unlikely, but not out of the question _ some TVs may have some sort of settings in the menu that have to be adjusted. For example, you may be getting that buzz, because the TV is looking for a digital signal in stead of analog _ or visa versa. Check everything.
Yup, if it is a vibrating – buzzing sound similar to your cel phone vibe* then there’s 2 possibilities:
- bluray disc you r playing is manufactured badly and is warped
- your bluray player has a unevenly mounted or
loose mechanism that spins your disc.
Try a different disc- even a normal cd… And if issue persists with all media, then return the system for a new one!
Hope this helps!
